Mega Confectionery was established back in 1998, primarily in the manufacture of
roasted peanuts and several bakery products. Two years later, the company diversified
and focused on producing Peanut Butter, Jam, Chocolate Spread and Kaya.
The company is managed by an experienced Factory Manager together with two qualified
Food Technologists and a Food Consultant (Mr Gan) who had over 30 years exposure in
the food processing industry.
Currently, Mega Confectionery is located in a 40,000 sq ft factory, with a land area of 1.3
acres. Market coverage includes East & West Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong, China, South
Pacific & South Indian Ocean regions. Sales ration is 80% local and 20% international.
Most products are under the OEM category and about 10% was established under its own
brand, Suzi Wan. Mega Confectionery believes in total concentration on manufacturing
so as to maintain consistent quality products, allowing the sales and marketing function to
be carried out by distributors instead.
